Fuerteventura is a biosphere reserve because it possesses a great wealth of species as well as marine ecosystems.
From the intertidal puddles to the veriles, passing through the prairies of brown algae, the blanquizales, the Arenales or the cebadales that form all of them a unique oasis of life in the world on our island.
In the enclave where we are (north of the island), we can enjoy wonderful landscapes to be between 3 islands (Fuerteventura,
Lanzarote and Isla de Lobos), where we will find many species of cetaceans, of which some live here and others are passing through.
Fuerteventura has a coastline of more than 300 km where many species inhabit, apart from Lanzarote, the island of La Graciosa and the Wild islands where we make incursions of several days with our clients, biologists and collaborators.
I.C.E.N.A.I. S. L (Canarian Institute of Nature Studies and industrial applications), was created in 2012 by professionals of the sector (marine, biologist and photographers), to exert the activity of sightings of cetaceans in the Strait of the Bocaina Fuerteventura, where this tourist activity had never been carried out before.
Currently apart from exercising our services of cetacean sightings, we collaborate with the University of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria and that of the lagoon in Tenerife as well as with diverse associations, in defense of the conservation and Environmental research .
